Most uplights do one thing. The Magic Ion 3 does three. Use it upright as a traditional uplight, mount it overhead with the included hanging bracket for accent lighting, or attach the diffusion cylinder to transform it into a glowing centerpiece fixture suited for any reception table. With IP65 protection and all-day battery performance, it's the most versatile fixture in the Magic Series.
Three 10W RGBAWP LEDs deliver the full color spectrum: rich event colors, accurate warm and cool whites, and UV output for fluorescent applications. When paired with the diffusion cover, the compact cylindrical housing distributes light evenly in all directions, creating a soft, premium ambient glow that photographs beautifully.
Control is fully wireless via W-DMX, with standalone, master/slave, sound active, infrared remote, and smartphone app control modes built in. 16-bit dimming keeps color transitions smooth and camera-ready throughout the event.
The Ion 3 delivers up to 13 hours of runtime in single-color mode. The 6,700mAh lithium battery is managed by an advanced Battery Management System for reliable performance throughout a full season of events.
The onboard OLED display enables fast on-site configuration without the need for a phone. A 25,000Hz refresh rate eliminates flicker for photographers and videographers working throughout the event.
